Rental Information

General

All rentals are 3 day minimum. Cancellation of reservation less than 30 days prior to day of departure will result in loss of reservation deposit.

Payments and Deposits

A reservation deposit of $250.00 for Travel Trailers and $500.00 for Motor Homes is due at the time of reservation. A security deposit of $1000.00 is due on the day of departure and must be paid in cash or by certified funds. The security deposit is refundable as long as the unit is returned according to the terms stated in the rental contract. Pinnacle Coach retains a 5 day service inspection to check out all systems on unit. The rental unit must be returned in the same condition it was received or additional charges may be assessed. At time of departure, full payment (less reservation deposit) and security deposit are required. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, and cash. Personal checks are not accepted.

Vehicle Pick Up/Return

Normal office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and closed Sunday and major Holidays. Vehicle departure time is normally between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Vehicle drop off time is between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM only. Customer agrees that unit will be returned in the same condition as received. Pick up and drop off times are more flexible during the off season based on availability.

RV Introduction

An RV Introduction (approximately 30 minutes to one hour) is required to acquaint the customer and drivers with the operation of the vehicle before departure.

Early Returns, Late Pick Ups, and Unused Miles

The rental day is based on number of nights the vehicle is used. Each night constitutes a rental day. Rental charges are based on rates in effect at pick-up day. No Refunds will be made for early returns, late pickups or unused mile except for unused estimated mileage charges.

Eligible Drivers

Any licensed driver 25 years of age or older, currently covered under an auto insurance policy is eligible to drive the motorhome.

Generator Use

Most motorhomes are equipped with generators. A generator is not necessary for normal vehicle operation, however, 5 hours per rental night is allowed at no charge. If the customer chooses to use generator, extra charges will accrue at $3 per hour as determined by an installed running time meter.

Insurance

Renters are responsible to purchase rental insurance through MBA Choice Insurance. To obtain a rental certificate or for more information please visit https://extranet.mbainsurance.net/choice/index.php. Customer is responsible for all damage and cost to the recreational vehicle; including tire damage of any kind (Pinnacle Coach is not responsible for flat tires or blow outs). Many automobile insurance companies do extend coverage to motorhome and trailer rentals.

Towing

Towing with the motorhome requires prior permission. Please request to tow at the time you book your reservation. THE MOTORHOME PROVIDES NO COLLISION OR LIABILITY COVERAGE FOR DAMAGE TO THE TOWED OBJECT, OR FOR ANY THIRD PARTY INJURY INFLICTED BY THE TOWED OBJECT.

Fuel

No warranties are made concerning fuel mileage and fuel tank capacity. We assume no liability for fuel consumption rates. All gasoline and all propane refueling during the trip are at the customer’s expense.
